Steve will serve as the firm’s Practice Leader for Financial Services and lead search engagements within Asset Management, Wealth Management, Real Estate, and Fintech. His functional expertise is in Advertising and Marketing, Sales and Distribution, Investment Management, Product Development, and Strategy. In addition to this work, Steve will leverage his 20-plus years of executive search experience recruiting senior executives within a select group of large cap, privately held middle market and private equity – owned companies within a diversified industry group that includes Distribution, Manufacturing, Professional Services, and Supply Chain.
Steve started his career as a Research Associate at a global retained executive search firm where he became Director of Strategic Accounts and executed multiple C-Suite and Board of Director assignments across multiple industry segments. In 2008 Steve and current Kensington International Partner Tim Bealert helped found The Laramie Group – a wholly owned subsidiary of Kensington International – which has since been folded into Kensington.

Steve is a graduate of Miami University (Ohio), where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication and Effectiveness. He resides in Glencoe, IL with his wife and two children.
